Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Will you pay me for fuel? If so, how much are you willing to pay?
RCP
is working to develop a new market in the Chicagoland area, one that
has not existed before. In that context, we are looking to our
potential suppliers to help define what the market should look like. We
have not set a price for fuel, nor have we set tipping fees. Instead,
we are asking our potential partners to look at their costs, and/or the
value of their products, to help us determine what contractual
arrangements make the most sense. RCP will not set any prices or
tipping fees at this time. We would like you to tell us what our
service is worth to you, and we will choose partners on that basis.
Q. I don't have the ability to chip (or grind, or deliver). Can RCP take care of this for me?
RCP
can not process wood. All fuel has to be delivered chipped or ground,
ready to burn. However, RCP can help suppliers who do not
have the ability to chip or grind themselves find nearby partners who
can provide this service. RCP can also help you find transportation
companies who will deliver your fuel.
Q. I am interested in becoming a Preferred Service Supplier to RCP. How can I do this and how will it benefit me?
RCP Preferred Service Suppliers should be able to provide one or more of the following services:
- Chipping or grinding
-
Transportation
- Storage
- Processing/Separation (for C&D or other mixed waste streams)
RCP
will direct fuel suppliers in your area who do not have these
capabilities to you, so that you can maximize your return on investment
for the services you provide.
